Job Title: English Teacher (Key Stage 3-4)
Are you passionate about nurturing students' literacy skills and fostering a love for language and literature? If so, we are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join our team at secondary schools in Basildon.

English Teacher , you will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate Key Stage 3 and 4 students to become confident readers, writers, and communicators.
Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging English lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, as well as their critical thinking abilities.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to support their growth and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects, literacy initiatives, and extracurricular activities that promote a love for language and literature.
Requirements: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in English literature, language, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and/or 4, with a strong track record of student achievement and engagement.
- Excellent subject knowledge across a range of literary texts, genres, and linguistic concepts, with the ability to inspire students' curiosity and critical thinking.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed.
- Enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular involvement and professional development activities.
