Power BI Data Analyst / Developer - Pontyclun
£35-45k & benefits Hybrid role - 3 days p/week onsite ideally
Are you ready to take your data analysis skills to the next level? Our manufacturing client is expanding and needs a versatile SQL Data Analyst who can help enhance customer experiences, optimize resource allocation, and deliver value for money in their sector.
About the Role:
As a Data Analyst you'll play a pivotal role in designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our data systems and databases. Collaborating with subject matter experts across departments, you'll contribute to the success of our dynamic business operations by expanding reporting requirements and uncovering insights crucial to our growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing and maintaining data systems and databases, resolving code errors and data-related issues.
Creating insightful reports for leadership teams, effectively communicating trends, patterns, and predictions.
Developing comprehensive documentation to facilitate stakeholder understanding and collaboration.
Extracting and analyzing data from various sources to uncover valuable insights.
Requirements:
Strong teamwork skills to support business analysis, design, and reporting delivery.
Critical thinking abilities, adept at evaluating and applying information to drive business improvement.
Flexibility to contribute new perspectives and solutions as needed to support divisional objectives.
Commitment to accuracy and efficiency, capable of handling large datasets and managing workload with accountability.
killset:
Proficiency in SQL/ETL and SSIS/SSRS.
Advanced knowledge of Excel & Power Query, including formulas and functions.
Desirable Skills:
Experience with BI visualization tools.
Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI is good to have but it's not essential as long as you have strong SQL Coding skills
