 The Accounts Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, of a reputable company based in Hove.  Description 
-  Providing support to the Accounting Department. 
 -  Performing basic office tasks, including data entry, processing the mail, etc. 
 -  Processing transactions, issuing cheques, and updating ledgers, budgets, etc. 
 -  Preparing financial reports. 
 -  Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies. 
 -  Communicating with vendors, clients, and internal departments to ensure accurate billing. 
 -  Assisting with the preparation of budgets and financial reports. 
 -  Adhering to the company's financial policies and procedures. 
 
 Profile 
 A successful Accounts Assistant should have: 
-  A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles. 
 -  Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records. 
 -  High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. 
 -  Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in using MS Excel. 
 -  Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
