FINANCE MANAGER
Robert Half are excited to be exclusively partnering with Nurture Group a growing organisation to appoint a Finance Manager to be part of the business' transformational change for the recent acquisition Rokill. Reporting directly into the Group Financial controller you will play a key role in this transformation.

- Rokill based in Ringwood, Hampshire is one of Britains leading companies for Pest Control services to commercial, domestic customers and the public sector. Rokill has held the Queens Royal Warrant for Pest Control services since 2000.
Nurture acquired Rokill in 2021 enabling entry into the attractive Pest Control market. Since then, Rokill has acquired two bolt-on acquisitions (Enserve and Alpha Pest). Rokill today has sales revenues of c£8m and a strong pipeline of further potential acquisitions to support the high growth ambitions of the business.
About the role
Reporting into Group Financial Controller
Managing team of 3, plus indirectly managing credit control facility
- Management Accountant
- Assistant Accountant - Purchase Ledger
- Assistant Accountant - Sales Ledger
Responsible for:
- Cashflow forecast
- Supporting budgets and forecasts
- Cash management (authorising bank transactions & monitoring aged debt)
- Approving credit notes
- Overseeing invoice processes
- Overseeing & approving payroll
- Preparing management accounts
- Posting & reviewing journals
- Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
- Financial analysis
- Presenting financial performance slides to GFC & COO
- Uploading management accounts via Adaptive portal to Group
- Assisting group with queries on Rokill financial performance
- VAT Returns
- Change projects to include
- New operational CRM system (Service Tracker)
- New financial system (SAP)
- Acquisition finance management
- Due diligence checks
- Integration
- Winding down shell companies
- Intercompany transactions with group & acquired subsidiary companies.

About you
Applications for the Finance Manager role will have:
- Qualified by experience or a Qualified Accountant with commercial experience.
- Proactive and wanting to make a difference by adding value.
- Excellent IT system skills, using various systems, reporting platforms and excel to an intermediate or advanced level.
- Ambitious, driven, and able to work successfully on own initiative.
- Previous experience of SAP B1, Access and Adaptive Insights is desirable.
- Flexible, enthusiastic, and can-do attitude.
