Job description
Lee Abbey is seeking to appoint a Head of Operations & H&S Officer. Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to help lead a vibrant Christian Community in welcoming thousands of guests who come to Lee Abbey each year?
To work alongside the Warden and Leadership Team to have oversite of the operational teams in the day to day running of Lee Abbey. Do you have experience and a proven track record, are you a team leader/player and able to efficiently manage day to day operations. Do you have experience in H&S to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations & policies.
Preferably you will have significant experience and or have relevant Qualification IOSH or equivalent. You should be a self-starter, possess excellent organisational skills and be able to lead a team in a diverse multicultural environment.
The role is just one part of Lee Abbey Community life. You will also take an active role in the worship, creative and serving aspects of community life. The position is residential with an allowance, accommodation and full board provided. Membership of the Lee Abbey Community is an essential requirement of the post.
