SAP S/4HANA SD/MM Lead Consultant / Architect – UK Based (70% Remote Work) Various Locations. Start Date: Flexible from February 2024 Onwards. Permanent (in-house) Job. Competitive Salary + Bonus + Benefits. End Client! Work Permit Sponsorship Possible.
Our well-known global manufacturing client, in the UK, is looking to hire an SAP SD/MM Senior Lead Consultant / Supply Chain Solution Architect with S/4HANA experience, to take a lead in designing and rolling out their S/4HANA implementation project within a greenfield environment, rolling-out SAP across 22 countries.
Starting in the EMEA region, you will be leading complex projects promoting business transformation leading to digitization of supply chain as they adapt their processes to the potential of SAP.
This is a fantastic opportunity within a major international company to grow into their SAP SCM Solution Architect role in this exciting transformation programme (and further within their SAP CoE). You must have the ability to drive design meetings, “sell SAP” internally and have the authority to challenge their SI partner.
The role Involves:
* Working with key business stakeholders to ensure the success of planning, analysis, designing, requirements definition, functional design, development, testing and project implementation globally
* Spearhead decision-making for all SAP technology related work streams
* Understanding the data requirements for legacy to SAP migration.
* Preparing and providing SAP solution demonstrations to the team, business partners and leadership, including end user support.
* Leading the deployment, production support and business operations support.
Expertise Needed:
* Over 10 years of experience as an SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) / MM (Materials Management) expert, or as an SAP Solution Architect
* SAP configuration expertise in SAP SD in S/4HANA
* Experience with broader Supply Chain as well as a good understanding of FI (Financial Accounting)
* Experience of delivering multiple implementations
* SAP Certification in at least one of the mentioned modules
* Working experience and confidence in troubleshooting and debugging of SAP design, configuration, workbench objects like programs and function modules, BAdi’s and user-exits, as it relates to solution gaps and incident management for end-user process.
* Discrete Manufacturing experience is a must-have!
