Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Coventry
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000
Hours: 39 hours - Day shift

Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge? Our client in Coventry is seeking a skilled individual to join their team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate.

This position would be suited to you if you are coming from a manufacturing environment.

For the right candidate, you will need to be able to commute on a daily basis within a 10-15 mile radius of CV7. Therefore, you would need to live in the local area.

Day-to-Day Duties:

• For the role of Electrical Engineer, you will be working with a small team to refurbish and build new machines.
• Following training, you will be asked to install and commission/decommission machines, and the role will include site work.
• Building electrical panels and machine wiring from schematics.
• Loading and setting up of PLC/CNC software and CAD drawing modifications.
• Based at the factory in Coventry, but worldwide travel will be expected - typically 6-8 weeks a year, so flexibility is essential.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment is required.
• Basic low-voltage wiring and electrical qualifications.
• Experience of building electrical panels from schematics.
• Experience of mechanical fitting is required.
• PLC experience (ideally Siemens). CNC Experience (Siemens or Fanuc). Electrical CAD Systems (WSCAD would be ideal).
• Pneumatic/Hydraulic experience.
