Position Overview:

As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a conducive and productive learning environment within a school. You will work closely with educators and students to ensure the smooth functioning of the classroom, providing essential support and assistance to both teaching staff and pupils.

Main Responsibilities of a Classroom Support Assistant:

* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may require additional help.
* Assist in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
* Monitor student behavior and address disciplinary issues according to school policies.
* Assist in grading assignments and maintaining student records.
* Maintain open and effective communication with teachers, staff, and parents.
* Collaborate with the teaching team to adapt lessons and support strategies as required.
* Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements to become a Classroom Support Assistant:

* Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.

* You will require to pass a DBS check with no reprimands (we can assist you with this)
* You will have GCSE grades of A*-C in Maths and English ( or equivalent )
