Job description
As Group Financial Accountant you will be responsible for delivering internal and external reporting for the Group. You will be looking after 1 overseas entity as well as doing the consolidated reporting for the Group.

My client are a circa £120 million turnover, Private Equity backed Technology business who are Global. 50% of their business is over in the US, and they also have a strong footprint across the UK, EMEA and APAC.
Description
- Managing external statutory reporting and overseeing the audit process for Group and subsidiary accounts (one trading company and one holding company).
- Monthly preparation of the group consolidation, incorporating significant judgement areas.
- Preparing monthly financial accounts for the Swiss entities, including full balance sheet reconciliations.
- Reviewing accounting entries to ensure the financial ledger's integrity.
- Ensuring internal and external reporting deadlines are achieved.
- Ensure local GAAP and IFRS compliance requirements are met.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including external fiscal authorities (tax/VAT).
- Assisting in calculating and maintaining tax balances in the ledger.
- Assisting in the implementation of the group's transfer pricing policy.
- Managing the group's WHT position, including the recovery and submission of CT61s.
- Managing group debt arrangements.
Profile
- Fluent German ideally
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (3 years post qualification experience with strong technical accounting/compliance background)
- Strong IT skills
- High level of accuracy
- Experience in preparing group consolidations with multi-currency entities.
- Experience in finance projects and systems improvements.
- Strong partnering and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
