Job description
Get Golfing CIO, a charity that supports struggling English golf facilities, is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring the delivery of exceptional food and dining experiences for our members and visitors. Get Golfing currently owns and operates 11 sites with 6,000 members and over 130,000 unique visitors each year. Our annual revenues are circa £17 million, which are reinvested back into our venues, staff careers, and community objectives. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the culinary team, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Create and develop menus that reflect our quality standards, culinary trends, and customer preferences.
- Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring timely delivery and consistent quality.
- Implement and enforce health and safety procedures and guidelines.
- Manage food costs and inventory by establishing portion control measures and monitoring waste.
- Collaborate with the management team to coordinate events and special promotions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
- Stay up to date with culinary trends and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role.
- Expertise in various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
