Job Opportunity: Highways Sub Agent
Location: Gloucester - Site Based
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £47,000 - £55,000 per annum + £5,300 car allowance + private healthcare + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Site Agent to achieve project delivery objectives while maintaining high standards of health, safety, environment, and quality.
- Supporting cost management, ensuring robust control of target cost, actual costs, and forecasts through commercial awareness.
- Accurately recording all labor, plant, materials, and supply chain resources.
- Supervising site activities and managing the sub-agent team.
- Ensuring quality assurance in accordance with specifications, including producing and populating inspection test plans.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role working on major highway projects
- A relevant construction-related degree/HNC.
- Working towards becoming a Chartered Member of the ICE.
- Knowledge and experience of the main management systems and processes used within a similar business.
