Salary: €50,000 Basic (depending on experience) + Dividends

Specsavers Killarney – ROI, are looking for an Audiologist or Hearing Aid Dispenser to become the new Store Partner, Director and Business Owner. Grow your own business, look after your customers, serve your community, create an asset for your family’s future and enjoy the profits of all your hard work. Joining Optical and Retail partners who have a vast network of stores across ROI and strong operational background who will be passionate to support the new incoming partner.

The Location:
Killarney is a small tourist town housing around 14,000 people and renowned for its stunning natural landscapes. The town is situated near the Killarney National Park, which is home to picturesque lakes, mountains, and woodlands. The scenic beauty of the area provides residents with opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling and exploring nature. Killarney is a popular tourist destination full of spirit, known for its rich cultural heritage. Living in such a place can expose residents to a vibrant cultural scene, including traditional music, dance and festivals. There are also historical sites like Muckross House and Ross Castle, contributing to the town’s historical charm.
Despite its small size, Killarney is well-connected by road and has good transport links. This makes it easy for residents to travel to nearby cities and explore other parts of Ireland.
The Store:
Specsavers in Killarney is a very established store based in the heart of town with plenty of parking nearby and a longstanding team (four members of the team have been in store for over 15 years!). Partnership couldn’t be easier with just one other partner in Optics who has been the sole director of the store for over 17 years. The store has an independent feel to it with a great reputation and excellent maze (customer survey) results. This store also boasts an immaculate interior due to having a re-brand within the last 12 months.
You will have access to a dedicated Hearcare room and the latest state of the art equipment for you and your team. With little competition in the town, the potential really is enormous. Did we also mention that the store only trades Monday to Saturday and closes on Sundays and Bank Holidays?
Requirements of the role
Alongside being a qualified and HCPC registered Audiologist with the drive, passion and willingness to maintain the customer-focused culture and the high standards of this successful store. As the new Audiology Partner, you’ll be able to provide a unique blend of customer care and professional excellence. You’ll be able to build a rapport with the existing team, demonstrate excellent attention to detail and possess an ability to build strong relationships within the local community.
