We are seeking a qualified accountant on a contract basis to assist with accounts production for our group. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in financial accounting and be familiar with CCH software. In addition to core responsibilities related to accounts production, the individual will be expected to contribute to various ad hoc finance tasks as needed.

About the Role

The Responsibilities include:

Accounts Production

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary financial data.
• Utilize CCH software proficiently for efficient accounts production.

Ad Hoc Finance Tasks

• Contribute to internal financial reporting requirements.
• Assist with any other ad hoc finance tasks as assigned.

About You

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Experience in gambling industry is desirable.
• Proven experience in financial accounting and accounts production.
• CCH software experience is essential.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Xero account software is desirable.
• Well-versed in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
