Conveyancing/Property (Residential & Commercial) Senior Solicitor

Title: Senior Solicitor - Conveyancing/Property
Location: Cheetham Hill, Manchester
Contract: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable but between £45,000 - £55,000

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Solicitor to join our esteemed firm's Conveyancing/Property department. As a Senior Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse caseload of conveyancing matters while providing leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of residential and commercial conveyancing matters from inception to completion.
• Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients on property transactions, including sales, purchases, and leases.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support client cases and transactions.
• Oversee and review the work of junior solicitors and paralegals within the department.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Keep abreast of changes in property law and regulations, advising clients and colleagues accordingly.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and court proceedings when necessary.

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor with 6 years of experience in Conveyancing/Property law.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex conveyancing transactions and property matters.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate junior team members.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Membership in relevant professional associations or bodies is desirable.
