Are you an experienced Optical Assistant looking for that step into management?
I am currently working with a well-established and successful practice that is looking for a Supervisor. You will be overlooking a team of 10+ strong on a day-to-day basis with the support from higher management when needed.
This is a very good opportunity for an experienced Optical Assistant looking to develop their optical career and take on a more senior role. As well as supporting the team, you will also be doing dispensing and leading by example.
Responsibilities of the Supervisor
- The role will entail supervising and leading a team on the shop floor you will also be dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches.
- This person is also required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on the best options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.
Requirements of the Supervisor
- As a Supervisor within this practice, you will work on the shop floor in the dispensing team.
- You will be on hand to help junior members of the team with any difficult questions and general troubleshooting.
- As a member of the stores management team you will have a valued input to best practice and clinical compliance.
Compensation for the Supervisor
- A starting salary of £24k
- A bonus reaching £300 per month if targets are hit
- 33 days holiday
- Mon – Sat 09:00am – 17:30pm and 09:00 – 17:00pm
- working 5 days per week with 1 weekend and week day off
