Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving, sorting, and storing incoming goods accurately and efficiently
- Picking and packing customer orders with precision and attention to detail
- Operating various warehouse machinery, such as forklifts and pallet trucks, in a safe and competent manner
- Conducting regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory levels
- Managing and organizing warehouse space efficiently to optimize storage capacity
- Liaising with suppliers to resolve any delivery or stock discrepancies
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organized working environment
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience working as a Warehouse Operative or similar role is highly desirable
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to meet productivity targets
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in operating warehouse machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet trucks)
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management systems
- Reliable and punctual with a positive work ethic
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
