Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree required in Medical Technologist or Clinical Lab Scientist
· ASCP or comparable National certification required or must be eligible within six months.
· Basic Life Support (BLS) is required upon hire.
· One year experience in a clinical laboratory as a technologist, hospital environment needed.
Required Skills:
· This job requires you to possess critical thinking skills,
· Make decisive judgments.
· Work with minimal supervision.
· Maintain an appropriate manner and conduct.
· You must be able to concentrate on fine details despite constant interruptions.
· It is essential to attend to a task for more than 60 minutes
· You must be able to recall tasks/assignments at the beginning of a period extending several days.
Preferred:
For the third shift, at least three years of experience is preferred.
