The Discovery Lead Platform Engineer role is essential to ensuring that risk associated with obsolete hardware & software components is well understood, reported and managed to limit associated risk to Bank wide operations and capabilities. This role will drive the analysis and development of strategies and remediation solutions to successfully upgrade technologies to reduce software and hardware obsolescence that support Santander. You will proactively develop the remediation solution, monitor, and control initiative progress to plan, including identifying risks and issues and confirming benefits and associated KPIs. The role will provide strong technical and architectural leadership ensuring strategies/roadmaps/initiatives are optimal, aligned to Santander UK architectural direction and reduce risks associated with obsolete software & hardware components. This role is based in Milton Keynes and our current expectation is at least 2 days in an office every week. Application process

For this position, the interview process will be :- 1st Stage - Technical Interview - this will a 30min technical interview with one of the team 2nd Stage - A one-hour formal interview where we will ask both technical and competency-based questions.
