Job Title: Estimator

Location: Remote - Home Based - 1x monthly visit to west midlands offices

Sector: Offsite Construction & Housing

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

• Are you an experienced estimator with a background in offsite construction & housing?
• Would you enjoy a home working role with a national contracting business?

You will be joining the specialist contracting division of a large, international manufacturing group. As a result of growth, this business is seeking a new estimator to complement their current team and is specifically interested in those with a modular and / or house building background.

You will be working on a range of contracts across modular, cold rolled steel, housing, hotel, student accommodation and retail projects. Reporting to a highly experienced pre-construction manager, you can expect excellent mentoring and development within the commercial team. Other colleagues will include estimators, quantity surveyors and commercial managers.

We would welcome conversations with candidates who:

• Have experience of estimating for offsite construction systems
• Are aware of building regulations and warranty processes for new build housing
• Are comfortable reading from construction drawings in Auto CAD and 3D Models
• Possess high levels of attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills
• Are comfortable in communicating with a supply chain for package pricing and building into larger tenders
