Salary: £550/day (Hybrid working)

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a local authority in Rotherham as a Family Help Transformation Lead.

The Role:

As the Family Help Transformation Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading collaborative efforts across multiple Directorates, including Corporate and front-facing services, and partners. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Reviewing, developing, preparing, and implementing a co-productive approach to projects and programs, ensuring effective engagement, liaison, consultation, and communication with stakeholders, partners, and communities.

Developing clear visions, strategies, planning frameworks, and delivery mechanisms for projects and portfolios being delivered by the Council and Children's Services.

Identifying clear objectives for service delivery, managing risk, and developing and performance-managing relevant action plans to ensure effective and efficient implementation.

Assessing political pressures and agendas on service delivery and tailoring plans/activities accordingly, while ensuring appropriate challenge is made and governance is adhered to.

Supporting the Assistant Director and wider Directorate Leadership Team to ensure that the EH (Family Help) Strategy is appropriately realised and developed in a phased approach over the next 4 years.

Requirements:

Substantial and successful direct management experience within the specialism of this post, including policy development, corporate/strategic planning, and managing change.

Successful budget management in a comparable organisation, including evaluation of competing budgetary priorities within tight financial limits.

Experience of performance management and quality assurance processes in service delivery.

Experience of successful project management and delivering services to set standards, including the production of Project Initiation Documents, project plans, and budget management.

Knowledge and significant understanding of legislative frameworks and government policy agendas in respect of this field of work.

Demonstrable experience of successful communication and working with stakeholders and partners, as well as successful partnership and multi-agency working.
