Job Title: CNC Miller and/Or Turner with Fanuc Control Experience
Location: Rochdale
Job Type: Full-time
Shifts Available: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM - 5 days per week and 1:30 PM - 11:30 PM - 4 days per week

Our client is a leading precision manufacturing company specializing in CNC milling and turning operations. We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller and/or Turner with expertise in editing Fanuc control systems to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and technically advanced environment.


Job Description:
As a CNC Miller and Turner, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, working with precision equipment and utilizing your expertise in Fanuc control systems to program, set up, and operate CNC machines. This role requires a candidate with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:
• CNC Machine Setup: Set up and prepare CNC milling and turning machines for operation, including loading materials, tool selection, and fixture installation.
• Editing: Edit and optimize Fanuc control systems to ensure the accurate and efficient production of components.
• Quality Control: Perform in-process quality checks to ensure that parts meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Maintenance: Conduct routine machine maintenance, including tool changes, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machine and tooling issues to minimize downtime.
• Safety: Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine settings, tool changes, and production data.
• Shift Work: Operate within your assigned shift, either from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 1:30 PM to 11:30 PM.


Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in CNC machining is preferred.
• Proven experience in CNC milling and turning operations, including the ability to set up and operate machines independently.
• Expertise in programming and editing Fanuc control systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and machine documentation.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including the availability for both the 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 1:30 PM - 11:30 PM shifts.
