Job description

My client are a global freight forwarder looking for an Assistant Operations and Key Account Manager to join their successful team! You must have previous experience in AIRFREIGHT EXPORTS.

Overseeing a team of 6 staff, daily duties will include:

• Coordinating tasks, schedules and resources to meet department objectives
• Maintaining and nurturing client relationships
• Hands on managing air export shipments from start – finish
• Managing administration of documents including invoices, packing documents and certificates
• Managing training, performance and attendance
• Monitoring costs and negotiating rates with suppliers
• Preparing monthly business activity report and revenue report
• Developing new customers

Experience needed:

• Solid experience of managing a team within the freight industry
• Computer literate
• Ideally experience using ASM Sequoia
• Excellent strategic, analytical and negotiation skills

Working hours:

• Monday – Friday 0900am – 1730pm
