Job Description
- Conducting detailed disrepair surveys on a variety of properties
- Managing and resolving disrepair claims in a timely manner
- Overseeing property maintenance to ensure they meet health and safety standards
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure a high standard of property maintenance
- Providing expert advice on disrepair issues to internal stakeholders
- Contributing to the development of maintenance strategies and policies
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines
- Preparing and presenting reports on disrepair issues and actions taken
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Building Surveyor (Disrepair) should have:
- A degree in Building Surveying or a related field
- Experience in managing disrepair claims within the property sector
- Knowledge of property maintenance best practices and health and safety regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders
- Proficiency in relevant software for surveying and reporting
