CNC Toolroom Machinist
Leamington Spa
£30,000 - £35,000 per annum
08:00- 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00-12:00 on Friday.

Job Description As a CNC Toolroom Machinist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the high standards of the manufacturing process. Your expertise in crafting and repairing precision tools will ensure the smooth operation of their production lines and the quality of their products.
Key Responsibilities for CNC Toolroom Machinist - Work within the Toolroom, assisting in the design, manufacture, and repair of custom production tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and execute precise machining tasks to meet design specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve tooling issues, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regular maintenance of machining equipment, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
- Mentor junior machinists, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Toolroom Machinist or similar role.
- A relevant Engineering Craft qualification required (e.g. C&G, ONC, NVQ)
- Proficiency in operating toolroom machinery, including CNC machines.
- Strong understanding of metallurgy and material properties.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
