Job description
An exciting Teaching Assistant position has become available in an excellent Manchester primary school. This is a full-time class TA role based in Year 2. The role is to start in June 2024 and will be required until the end of summer term in July 2024, with a high likelihood of being required to continue in September.
This is a varied Teaching Assistant role based in KS1. You will have a high level of responsibility and must be confident leading activities with groups, especially in core areas such as Phonics, Writing, Guided Reading and Maths. You will be responsible for making assessments and managing behaviour, along with the other members of staff. You will be required to support children with other activities across the curriculum. This is a very successful school with high standards and expectations. They are looking for an upbeat and creative person who will be happy to contribute to team planning and offer interesting ideas for activities, resources and displays. You must have experience working in KS1. Prior experience of working in Year 2 would be ideal. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an innovative and welcoming school.
