Role: Site Engineer
Salary: £350 - £400 per day (dependent on experience)
Location: Worcester
Start Date: As soon as possible
Reporting to: Project Manager
The Site Engineer role
Site Engineer required to work with a growing business taking on interesting and diverse civil engineering projects in the Midlands area. As a result of a new project win, my client have an opening for a Site Engineer to help them in an important time in the projects development. They are looking for a Site Engineer who has experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects in their early stages and someone who is a self-starter. The role has been determined outside IR35 and the role will see the right Site Engineer with work for the majority of 2024.
Competencies of the Site Engineer
Relevant HND/Degree in a Construction/Civil Engineering field
First Aid at Work
SMSTS
Track record of working on similar projects
A background in any civil engineering discipline
Responsibilities of the Site Engineer
Setting out for project
Interpret and execute from construction drawings
Supervise subcontractors
Keep accurate site records and site diaries
Record ordering of plant and materials
Supervise and direct subcontractors
Produce permits, risk assessments, method statements, work package plans and task briefings
