Job description
Great Bay Community College is seeking qualified applicants who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required.
Semester: Summer 2024
Adjunct Faculty: Social Science Department
The instructor will be responsible for helping to prepare and to teach a 10-week asynchronous course: Introduction to Ethnography. This course will include Zoom 1 on 1 meetings and online instruction. The instructor should be familiar with and experienced teaching in Canvas. The course runs May 20 - August 3.
Course: ANTH105G: Introduction to Ethnography (1 section)
Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in classroom or online instruction.
Adjunct Faculty:
Pay Rate is $750-$900 per credit. The credit rate will be determined by the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
The minimum qualifications for your position are as follows:
Education: Minimum: Master’s degree from a recognized college or university is preferred.
Experience: Four (4) years of teaching and/or experience in the classroom.
