Temporary Business Services Assistant /Admin – Education
Job Ref: Derbyshire 5245160
Pay Rate: £10.42 per hour PAYE
Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm
Role Length: This opening assignment is for 12 months
City: Matlock, Derbyshire
Please note this is cover for maternity leave and should the employee return sooner the assignment will end earlier
To provide administrative and other support where co-ordination, interaction and awareness of related activities are important.
Key Responsibilities:
Completing DBS checks/rechecks for all teachers – annual declarations.
Processing teacher claim forms along with G6.
Raise PO on new system for accredited teachers along with G6.
Providing support to Music Teachers.
Assist with organising musical tours, e.g. the snowman.
Assist with organising residential music courses with the G6.
Assist with organising Wind Band and CCYO auditions.
Assist with organising Singing Summer Schools.
Assist with Teacher audit – may not be until September.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
Relevant work experience in the unit or comparable setting.
Working knowledge of relevant systems, equipment, processes and procedures.
Appreciation of the standards of conduct and output of the role and familiarity with work priorities and those of colleagues.
Ability to plan and organise own work to produce a high level of output to quality standards.
Understanding of relevant policies and procedures and how they affect the role.
Good customer liaison and communications skills.
Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
