Contract- Part time/Perm- (19.5 a week ) 8am or 6am start
Salary- £11,142.49-£12,256.73

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at a HMP Littlehey, a Category C Male prison.

As a Cleaning operative, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, and others, who are all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all.

We are a five-year-old Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Cleaning operative with any combination of:

Can proactively undertake various cleaning activities, including using chemicals and equipment such as floor polishers and vacuum cleaners etc

Understand the importance of, and can adhere to health and safety legislation and policies and procedures to provide a safe and appropriate service to the prison environment

Are able to remain calm under pressure and work in an environment which requires a methodical approach and ability to work to deadlines

Can ensure the shared areas of the site such as the offices, visitor centre and main wings are kept clean, clear, and sanitised.
