A successfull manufacturing company, based in Blackpool are looking to recruit an experienced Company Accountant.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take full responsibility for the full set of accounts assisting the company making astute finance decisions for their future growth.
Key responsibilities of the Company Accountant
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial KIPIs and cash flows in line with group timetables
- Prepare statutory accounts, calculate tax and pay any gift aid in line with Group policies
- Contribute to service improvements within the business
- Undertake balance sheet reconciliations
- Contribute to financial modelling and appraisals of existing scheme
- Contribute to management of board reports specifically around financial implications and financial impacts
- Monitor and deliver on KPIs across the organisation
The ideal candidate will ideally be a fully qualified Accountant although candidates qualified by experience will be considered. Other atrributes should include :
- Experience of preparing budgets, forecasts and management accounts
- Strong IT skills and proficient in excel and report writing
- Proven relationship builder and influencer with stakeholders
- Proven management skills - both strategic and managerial
- Experience of manipulation large volumes of data for multiple scenarios
- Self-reliant and resilient
