This position is for a live-in elderly carer professional
Companion/Carer/Housekeeper/Cook A spacious 3 bedroom house in Buckinghamshire will be your workspace, and a large size bedroom will be provided for your personal well-being living.
You will of course have access to the whole house, living with our mother. Providing physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities during the day along with full care day and night.
Our mother is very independent, able and is self-supporting, this role is to enrich her life where her age provides challenges and requires support
The role - 7 days a week 24/7 care is required
- General day to day care of a 75 year elderly
- Once a month plan trip to one of her three children's house
- Weekly shopping and house keeping
- Hospital and GP appointments

- Full Clean Driving License
- Must be Urdu/Punjabi speaking
- Must be fluent English speaking
- Be able to start immediately or within a short space of time
- Experience of elderly care
- Clean DBS
- Non smoker
- No pets
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
- Have a valid national insurance number
Principal Duties
- To undertake the full range of caring duties in accordance with the duties of Care in accordance with the National Care Standards and Regulations.
- To assist with the preparation of healthy and exciting daily meals, and refreshments, along with housekeeping, cleaning and washing up.
- To undertake such personal and intimate duties as may be required such as putting to bed at night, getting up in the morning, bathing, toileting, assisting with dressing/undressing, personal cleanliness and appearance. Administration of simple medication and monitoring her health.
Key Skills Required
- Experience gained in a healthcare setting (desirable but not essential)
- Ability to communicate on the telephone
- Good interpersonal skills
- Able to retain information and carry out instructions accurately.
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Able to accurately record basic information
- Good verbal and written skill
- Adaptable, friendly, polite, courteous and caring
- Health & Safety is key criteria.
- Experience in cooking traditional Indian food.
- Halal meat only - no Pork, Ham or Bacon.
Candidate Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (preferred but not essential)
- Good basic education, including English and Maths
- Experience of working with the elderly in a healthcare setting

- £28,000+pa Salary
