Description
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the sales ledger and ensure prompt payment of invoices.
- Perform credit checks on potential clients and assess creditworthiness.
- Resolve invoice queries and ensure payments are received on time.
- Provide assistance with month-end accounting procedures.
- Coordinate with the accounting team to handle financial discrepancies.
- Monitor customer accounts for irregularities or delayed payments.
- Provide regular reports to management on outstanding issues.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to financial policies and procedures.
Profile
The successful candidate requires:
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of credit control procedures and debt recovery legislation.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
