Job description
Are you a passionate and experienced SEND Tutor, Teacher, HLTA or SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a varied and flexible new role?
We are currently seeking qualified and/or experienced Tutors, Teachers, HLTA or SEND Teaching Assistants to work on a one-to-one basis with young people of all ages (from Reception to Year 11 and beyond) with a range of additional needs.
The needs of our students include:
- Communication and interaction difficulties
- Learning and cognition issues
- Social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH)
- Autism
- Disaffection requiring support to re-engage with learning
Skills and Knowledge
- Do you have QTS or can you demonstrate previous success as a Tutor / Teacher / Teaching Assistant teaching/working with young people with special educational needs?
- Have you experience of play based learning, sign language or similar?
- Are you qualified to teach maths and English to functional skills level as a minimum?
