Job description

I am searching for a  Linux Team Lead who will run a Global team in delivery to a large managed service client.

The team of Linux Engineers is based across the US, UK, and India supporting large scale hosted and on-premises managed services environments. You will be running approx. 500 physical Linux setups and growing.

The priority of this role is the technical knowledge within Linux including AD and Puppet.

You will be required to Lead the Linux engineering team and develop/support the delivery of the best-in-class solutions, providing technical leadership in implementing best practices and driving standards within the team.

You will be required to lead the team (currently 5) and mentor/coach them to perform to the best of their abilities. You will be in charge of Linux platform administration and lifecycle management.

You will be used to an automation environment (PUPPET preferred).

Great communication and a client satisfaction mentality is required to lead this team.
