Job description
Robert Half is recruiting for a Senior Credit Controller for our client in East Hertfordshire, for a period of 12 months on a fixed term contract basis.
The position of Senior Credit Controller will be varied and focus on the following;
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding and documenting the quote to cash cycle
- Allocating cash
- Monitoring existing payment plans
- Identifying queries and implementing changes to process
- Documentation of the Direct Debit run
- Managing own ledger of approx. (various sizes and complexities).
- Contribute to the team's objective of minimising the aged debt.
- Maintain and repair relations with clients.
- Monitor the BACS reports & changes to Direct Debits
- Effective credit risk management of ledger.
- Competency using customer portals, creating clear process documentation for billing/CC
- Weekly reporting on aged debt
- Liaising with other departments for smooth resolutions
- Assist with the dunning implementation.
- Assist with other projects regarding the cash collection, allocation and wider AR
- KYC implementation
Profile
- 5+ Years solid experience in Credit Control with relevant finance experience
- Experience working with a high-volume ledger.
- Confident with dispute resolution and providing recommendations.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organisation & time management skills
- Enjoys and thrives off a challenge.
- Passionate about making a difference and delivering outcomes
The position of Senior Credit Controller will be paying competitively and also offers hybrid remote working, this is an urgent requirement to begin asap.
