Repairs Contact Centre Team Leader

37 Hours Per Week

Fixed-Term Contract up to 31st September 2024

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated and a committed individual with strong team leadership skills to join our Repairs and Maintenance Team in Neighbourhood & Asset Services, (N&AS).

N&AS are responsible for the management of WDC’s Housing Repairs & Maintenance to tenanted properties. In this role you will be leading the front line within our Repairs Contact Centre who are handling incoming calls and arranging inspection appointments or appropriate works orders to our contractors.

You will need to be highly organised and able to provide a wide range of administrative and service support tasks. You will be working closely with wider members of the Assets and Housing Services team, engaging with customers and contractors whilst supporting the administration of works through to satisfactory completion.

You will require good communication skills and experience in using electronic systems for the recording and inputting of information. You’ll be required to assess and resolve enquiries, service requests and escalated complaints from Tenants by telephone and other electronic access channels, then make decisions within established procedures and quality standards to maximise customer satisfaction.

Proven experience of working at a leadership level within customer service telephone contact centre environment is essential as is the ability to deal directly with the public. You must be able to demonstrate and be committed to delivering first class customer service.

Experience of the Social Housing and/or domestic repair and maintenance sectors would be highly advantageous.

This role is a Fixed Term Contract to 30 th September 2024, a full-time position, 37 hours per week. 8:45am to 5:15pm Monday to Thursday, 8:45am to 4:45pm Friday with flexible hybrid working arrangements between home and from our offices in Warwick.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to an standard DBS disclosure.

The intention is for the postholder to work from home.However, office and hybrid working is also available. Whilst home working is offered for this role, it is a requirement that the successful candidate be available to attend meetings at our offices within Warwick District when required. Any costs for travel from home to the office will be met by the successful candidate.
