Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Plastic Surgeon to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for performing reconstructive and cosmetic surgeries, helping patients restore or enhance their physical appearance due to aesthetic desires, medical necessity, or trauma recovery. Your expertise will not only transform appearances but also uplift spirits and improve lives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough consultations with patients to understand their surgical goals, provide realistic expectations, and develop tailored surgical plans.
- Perform a wide range of cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries including but not limited to breast augmentation, liposuction, rhinoplasty, and facial reconstructive surgeries.
- Ensure pre-operative and post-operative care, including monitoring patients' health status and responding to any complications.
- Stay abreast of the latest surgical techniques and advancements in plastic surgery to provide the best outcomes for patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive approach to patient care.
- Participate in research opportunities and continuous education to further enhance surgical skills and knowledge.
- Uphold the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A Medical Degree from an accredited institution and completion of a residency in Plastic Surgery.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council and a valid license to practice in the UK.
- Demonstrated experience in plastic surgery, with a portfolio of successful procedures preferred.
- Proficiency in using modern surgical tools and techniques.
- Excellent bedside manner, with the ability to empathise with patients and provide compassionate care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex medical information in an understandable manner.
- Preferred skills include experience with non-surgical cosmetic procedures and a proven track record of research in the field.
