Adult Social Care Locum
Venn Group’s specialist legal recruitment team is currently working with a Local Authority based in London, who are known for their interesting workloads and strong team ethos, are recruiting for an
Adult Social Care Locum to join their busy legal department
. This is an Inside IR35
full-time role (36 hours per week) with
hybrid working available Some of the responsibilities include:
- To support the provision of strategic, high level legal advice to the Councils, Members and Officers
- To provide legal expertise in adult’s social care and safeguarding and related areas, in a shared back office support service, contributing to the delivery of a portfolio of high quality, solution focused legal work in more than one discipline and across multiple sites, to customers in different organisations
- To supervise junior members of the team, including trainees and support staff
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Must be a qualified solicitor or barrister or legal executive with a current practising certificate
- Good working knowledge of Adult Social Care law
- Experience of providing legal services relevant to Local Government
The hourly rate for this is competitive and candidates may either be provided with a council laptop or use their own.
