Hunter Adams is working with a well-established subsea operator to source a Learning & Development Facilitator to join their team.
This is a full time, permanent position, based Aberdeen, with a hybrid working pattern, offering a competitive salary and an ideal opportunity to join an innovative global organisation.
About the role
The Learning & Development Facilitator will focus on developing, maintaining and delivering the global leadership and management program and associated skills training to support the development of the workforce within a defined geographic area.
Key activities will include:
- Assist Group L&D in creating training content as required to meet the needs of the organisation. This may require collaboration with external training providers and participation in tendering exercises as required.
- Collaborate with Group L&D to develop training content tailored to organisational needs, potentially involving external providers and tendering.
- Customise training materials to ensure cultural relevance in designated regions, including translation when necessary.
- Assist in evaluating training effectiveness and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on training aligned with individual development plans.
- Deliver Global Leadership and Management program and related skills training through various formats, engaging diverse learning styles and cultures.
- Support Group or Regional Trainers in delivering training sessions as needed.
- Identify additional training needs emerging from workshops and communicate to Group and Region L&D.
- Coordinate training program scheduling and instructor activities, ensuring necessary materials are available.
- Generate training reports for management and offer data on progress towards KPI goals.
- Conduct regular visits to sites to foster relationships, assess customer satisfaction, and deliver presentations promoting the Global L&M program.
- Contribute to Group or Region projects as requested.
- Adhere to Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, reporting any violations or conflicts of interest.
- Ensure compliance with Quality policies and procedures, reporting deficiencies and obtaining authorization for deviations.
- Comply with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, promoting awareness and taking personal responsibility for safety.
- Meet objectives outlined in the Employee Development Plan.
About you
- Flexible and able to travel internationally.
- Fluency in English plus 1 or 2 additional languages appropriate for geographic area of responsibility beneficial.
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Experience in training internationally (online & in person)
- Experience in developing and delivering leadership and management training
- Experience in coaching, facilitation, and presentation.
- Knowledge and passion for developing people and a full understanding of the learning cycle.
- Psychometric qualification preferred.
- Coaching qualification preferred (ICF or equivalent)
