The company is a World Leader in the Medical industry, and they are renowned for developing and manufacturing products that are used at home and in hospitals. As a result of strong business growth, there is a requirement to recruit for a Control Systems Engineer to join the Development Engineering Group of R&D. 

As the Control Systems Engineer, you will collaborate with engineering colleagues to work on systems for motion control equipment, interpret PLC codes, debug issues and aid continuous improvement activities across a range of machinery. What we would like from the Control Systems Engineer:

The Control Systems Engineer will:

• Working on complex automation projects and developing solutions to complex automation needs.
• Fault finding and modification to PLC programs for automated machinery.
• Siemens S7/TIA Portal and Allen Bradley Studio 5000 knowledge being essential.
• Experience using Structured language in both platforms would be highly desirable.
• Experience working with Oracle database and basic cyber security knowledge would be advantageous.
• Some knowledge in other programming languages such as C++ or Python could make you to stand out from other applicants.
• Ideally an experienced degree qualified Controls Engineer, however proven industry experience backed up by a recognised engineering apprenticeship will be considered.
• You must be able to demonstrate the ability to follow procedures and create accurate documents.
