Horus Music Limited is a global digital distribution and label services company. Established in 2006, Horus Music work with artists, labels, distributors, and right-holders to send their music to over 100 digital download, streaming, and interactive platforms; as well as offering digital marketing opportunities and additional music services.

Anara Publishing Limited was launched in 2017, and provides a simple solution for independent songwriters around the world to have music publishing and sync licencing representation.

Nick Dunn Enterprises Limited owns a commercial property in which it provides a high quality serviced offices to business, as well as meeting room hire services.

The Old School Leicester Events Limited is a newly formed business, which offers a venue to hire for different events and also meeting room hire.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team within the accounts department. We are looking for someone to support the current Finance Manager by undertaking usual accounting duties such as purchase and sales invoicing, monthly reconciliations, as well as other admin duties required to fulfil this role.

This position will be office based at our head office in Leicester.

Key responsibilities:
• Timely and accurate processing of purchase invoices ensuring all financial transactions are recorded and accounted for accurately for each business.
• Ensure all sales invoices are processed correctly and matched to store reports.
• Downloading store reports and importing into our own unique platform
• Entering costings and supporting the finance manager with the monthly royalty payment run to artist and labels.
• Effective communication with artist and labels, dealing with any queries that may arise via telephone or email
• Reconciliations of bank accounts including PayPal
• Monthly credit control
• To maintain and develop readily accessible information and record systems using spreadsheets and databases, as appropriate.
• Work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure all financial management tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Other admin duties, such as filing, scanning, answering calls and message taking etc..
Qualifications and requirements:
• Experience with using XERO accounting software
• Ideally AAT, however, must have a minimal of 3 year’s experience working in a finance or accounting role
• Able to use Excel, working with spreadsheets and databases
• Excellent organisation skills and must show good attention to detail
• Enable to work to strict deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work as part of a team but take initiative when working on their own.
We are looking for either two people to work 20 hours per week (job share) or a full time individual.
