Homelessness & Housing Solutions Officer

Guaranteed 37 hours per week

Hybrid – Redditch

£15.70 – £17.12 p/hour

6 Month Cover

SolviT Recruitment are looking for someone to enter a hybrid role for the local authorities tackling homelessness in the Redditch area. This hybrid role will require you to be in the office at least 2/3 times a week with the option of working from home.

What will I be doing?

• Deliver a high standard of service with Homeless and Housing solution
• Communicating to applicants either via telephone or face to face
• Offering helpful housing advice to applicants
• Confident working under the Housing Act 1996
• Attending any meetings when requested

What skills and experience do I need?

• GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English
• At least 3 years’ experience working in homelessness, housing options or other relevant advice services
• Experience of casework and writing reports
• Membership of CIH (desirable)
