Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a well established manufacturing company in their search for a Mechanical Fitter to work in their leading facility in West Bromwich.

For the successful Mechanical Fitter our client is offering:

i. £28,800- £31,900 per annum DOE
ii. Monday- Friday 8:00AM- 4:30PM
iii. Permanent position within a rapidly expanding company
iv. Free parking
v. Ongoing training
vi. Paid sick scheme / Pension Scheme / Life Assurance

The Role - Mechanical Fitter:

i. Carrying out Planned and Reactive Maintenance
ii. Carrying out repairs to machinery on site
iii. Mechanical Installation and modification work
iv. Pipe Fitting
v. Fabrication
vi. Refurbishment of gearboxes, pumps, pipework, seals etc. 
vii. Use of computerised maintenance management system
viii. TIG Welding

What our client is looking for in a Mechanical Fitter:

1. Educated to RQF level 3 (e.g. City & Guilds level 3) in a practical Mechanical Fitting/Engineering discipline as a minimum - ESSENTIAL
2. Ability to use and interpret engineering drawings
3. Ideally you would have training in MEWP's, Abrasive Wheels, Welding Equipment and Confined Spaces- PREFFERED
4. Ideally you would have a recognised Mechanical apprenticeship- PREFFERED
