Job description

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Place of Work: Head Office Maidstone ME15 9NEKent

Responsible to: Maintenance Manager

Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am 6 pm

We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to provide leadership

and motivation to our maintenance team at our Head Office in Maidstone Kent.

The maintenance supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations of

the maintenance team. The role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to prioritise

and coordinate tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities

To lead a team of five multiskilled maintenance engineers

Foster a collaborative and positive team culture focused on achieving business goals

and objectives

Work closely with the maintenance manager to project plan and prioritise workload

Work closely with Health and Safety on the management of fire risk assessments

and workplace audits and organising remedial works ensuring effective

communication between departments

To promote a strong safety culture and adhere to company and statutory procedures

To plan and prioritise actions from maintenance inspections carried out by others

To oversee and maintain the builders store room at Head Office and arrange regular

collections of the endoflife pharmacy fridges WEE and general builder skips. You

will also be responsible for stock control

To arrange quotations and invoices with external contractors regarding the larger

maintenance projects and liaise with our accounts department to authorise payments

To use internal communication channels to streamline processes and receive

reactive and preventative maintenance requests from branches across the estate.

To allocate jobs to members of the team via a mobile application platform in order of

priority

To plan and prioritise the need for locksmiths shutter contractors glaziers drainage

contractors etc. in emergencies as and when required

A wellversed understanding of all associated building trades is essential
