Job title: Research Assistant (Software Engineer)
The School of Science, Engineering and Environment (SEE) is a centre of discovery and innovation. We are seeking a motivated and capable Research Assistant (Software Engineer) to provide support for the delivery of an EPSRC funded project, On-organ Sensing for Bowel Monitoring – A Bottom Up Approach. The role holder will work alongside our academic and wider technical team to deliver the project.
We are particularly interested to hear from candidates with knowledge and experience in developing mobile health applications with a focus on reading sensor data using Bluetooth technologies.
The role holder requires skills in cross platform mobile application, Xamarin, agile software development, scrum, UX/UI design, Figma with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The culture and ethos of the post is directed towards applied research and team working.
