We are seeking a highly motivated, committed individual to work in the Phlebotomy Department and to provide support to the Pathology Department. The work involves venepuncture (taking blood samples) from patients throughout the trust, specimen handling. The individual may also be required to operate laboratory analysers following suitable training.
The Team operates an extended working day and requires flexibility in working patterns between 7.30am - 5.00pm Mon-Fri (with weekend/BH working 7.00-1.00).
In-house training and competency assessment will be given on the trust venepuncture technique.
