We have exciting opportunities for Family Hub Business Support Officers to join our Public Health directorate on an 18 month Fixed Term contract opportunity at this exciting time as we launch multiple Family Hubs across the Solihull borough. The posts we currently have available are:
The Family Hubs will provide a high quality and effective service to children, young people and families through a team of multi-agency professionals working together to offer support. The aim of Solihull Family Hubs is to give children and families the best start in life through a ‘one-stop’ shop approach, enabling them to get the support and services they need, including virtual appointments and online group sessions.
This role is part of a multi-disciplinary partnership that will bring together a range of activities for families with children and young people up to 19 years old, and up to 25 for young people with additional needs. They will offer health appointments, including seeing midwives and health visitors, social activities, support for parents, help for people with special educational needs, playgroups and youth clubs, involving multiple services and professionals working together in a collaborative way.
As a Family Hub Business Support Officer, you will work within a team responsible for the day to day running of the hubs ensuring they are welcoming friendly places equipped to service the needs of the families. You will be engaging with the local community and working closely with a number of voluntary sector groups.
