About the Job:

The RMA handler is responsible for completing the technical repair process for internally produced and externally sourced products and components.

Their primary role is to follow set procedures to help diagnose and repair faults on various products. The RMA handler will need to record their progress on each fault into the company ticketing system, then further analysis this data and feedback into the organisation to identify improvement opportunities.

The position also requires the candidate to process the logistical movements of a repair through the SAP ERP system, ensuring commercial aspects of the repair can be further processed by all relevant stakeholders within the business.

A RMA handler will also need to support the wider Global Supply Chain team with logistical and administrative tasks, including but not limited to; scheduling deliveries for orders and returns and quarterly stocktaking activities.

Key Duties

• Diagnose, repair, and test a variety of products to agreed specifications.
• Monitor and report on repair statistics.
• Identify common failures and possible preventive measures.
• Provide feedback to various stakeholders for product and repair process improvements.
• Review and update repair guidelines as required.
• Liaise with external vendors to progress the repair of 3rd party products and components.
• Update the company ticketing system with repair progress.
• Process the logistical movement of a repair in the SAP ERP system.
• Assist the Global Supply Chain team with logistical and administrative tasks.
• Responsible for recording and maintaining the calibration of tools and equipment utilised throughout the repair process.

The role is authorised to:

• Identify and act on the most cost-effective approach to complete a repair activity.
• Advise internal stakeholders on the cost of a repair so commercial quotations can be created.
• Escalate technical faults with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a repair is completed within acceptable timeframes.
• Prioritise the repair workload as needed by the organisation.

Who You Are:   

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Suitable candidates must have a methodical approach to problem solving and can adapt to resolve unexpected challenges.
• English: Fluent in writing and speaking English
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows would be desirable.
• ERP experience is a plus as well as a technical education within electronic.
