Job description

FM Conway is seeking to appoint a Senior Supervisor- Lighting to join our Street Lighting team based from Dartford.

As our Senior Supervisor- Lighting, you will help to further develop the street lighting business throughout our contracts. Implementing street lighting works in a professional and efficient manner whilst ensuring the highest level of health, safety and quality.

The duties of the Senior Supervisor- Lighting role will include:

- Acting as a qualified Supervisor for FM Conway Ltd under the HEA/ HERS registration Scheme

- Ensuring portfolios and other documentation is maintained to the required standard to retain accreditation to the relevant industrial bodies

- Preparing and updating health and safety plans, method statements, risk assessments, SSOW and environmental plans, ensuring that all new sites or new work orders have the appropriate documentation in place

- Delivering toolbox talks, safety alerts, daily briefings, safety tours and near miss reporting are completed as per company requirements

- Planning work and resources, building programs and spending profiles whilst also updating spreadsheets

- Recording, monitoring and maintaining records of plant, labour and materials and to assist in monthly internal commercial reporting and external contract performance reporting

What skills and experience do you need?

To be considered for this role you must have previous experience of contract supervision within the Street Lighting industry. You will hold a G39 certification, CSCS, SSTS and you will be a HEA qualified Supervisor. In addition you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work in a collaborative manner and a strong customer focus.
