1 x Senior Service Manager (Adult/Core Services)
FDAMH is recruiting two experienced Senior Service Managers is to provide both mental health and operationalmanagement.
The principal purpose of this post is to manage, support and co-ordinate the day-to-day operation of the allocatedservice areas and provide line management to their direct reports. You will work closely with the SeniorLeadership Team on FDAMH wide matters, ensuring that your Mental Health experience is included in keyorganisation decisions.
The Senior Service Manager will be a skilled, knowledgeable and experienced individual. You must have substantiveprevious operational, management, mental health experience and excellent communication skills.
Able to demonstrate previous experience of managing and developing teams using innovative systems to achievechallenging goals, you should be positive, supportive, able to work in a collaborative way, and have excellentinterpersonal relationship skills.

About the Role
SAMH Redhall is a mental health recovery project based in a walled garden in South-West Edinburgh. We have awonderful location in a wooded dell by the Water of Leith and indoor and outdoor facilities includingpolytunnels, vegetable beds, ornamental gardens, orchard, kitchen, library and training room.
The Instructor Team at Redhall provide a supportive environment to learn and practice skills in horticulture. Theservice has structured days and encourages people to build routine, be more active, spend time outdoors and workalongside others. Our Peer Worker and Employability Practitioner offer additional support for people to bettermanage their mental health, develop confidence and progress their goals.
The garden is open to the public during the week and also plays host to local partner projects who might arrangetheir own activities in the grounds. We also organise open days to sell plants, promote the service and raiseawareness.
The Team Leader will be responsible for the day to day delivery of effective social and therapeutic horticultureactivities at SAMH Redhall, creating a positive and purposeful environment for staff, service users and widercommunity.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone with a track record of managing the delivery of programmes in health, greenspace and/orcommunity settings. You will have the skills to undertake all aspects of managing the project day to day fromthe ground up - overseeing site/garden maintenance, developing programmes, managing staff and ensuring qualityof support.
You have an understanding of partnership working and can identify and develop opportunities for joint working,coordinate and communicate with colleagues across the third sector and make reports to funders as required.
You have leadership experience and can confidently bring a team together with a strong sense of purpose andcommitment to SAMH values. You are someone who wants to work with people with the ability to build rapport, showgenuine interest in their recovery and handle difficult conversations with compassion. About the Role
SAMH is delighted to be partnering with Aberdeenshire Council to expand our SAMH Time for Me programme to youngpeople in schools and communities across Aberdeenshire. To achieve this we are seeking experienced practitionersto work full time, and during term-time with young people from Aberdeenshire high schools. Time for Me is acommunity based 8 session life skills course for young people aged 11 – 18 years experiencing low mood and/oranxiety. Based on the cognitive behavioural approach it provides young people with time and space to explore,discuss and understand their difficult feelings, thoughts and behaviours. It aims to reduce anxiety, improvewellbeing, increase confidence and resilience, and help young people to develop tools to manage life’schallenges.
The programme can be delivered individually within schools or community venues. We also hope to develop and trial agroup work programme. The programme can be delivered both face to face and digitally. In addition to Time forMe, the Time for Me Practitioner will deliver a range of digital and face-to-face mental health and wellbeingworkshops to parents and carers. These workshops aim to increase mental health awareness, whilst also tacklingmental health stigma, and provide information and tools to enable people to support their own and others’ mentalhealth and wellbeing.
What we are looking for
We are looking for individuals with extensive experience of working with young people around their mental health andwellbeing. With exceptional communication skills and ability to manage own case load, you’ll need to be flexibleto respond to the needs of the service and young people, ensuring your practice is of the highest quality at alltimes.

The Volunteer Co-ordinator is responsible for the recruitment, selection, induction and ongoing support to our teamof much valued Volunteers. Managing referrals and carrying out assessments to best meet the needs of peopleliving with dementia.
The key role of the Volunteer Co-ordinator is to identify suitable ‘matches’ for befriending relationships which willprovide companionship to people living with dementia.
Successful applicants will have a positive approach to dementia. You will also have good communication skills and acaring attitude. A willingness to learn and participate in training (including SVQ’s) is essential. Relevantqualifications and/or experience of working with people with dementia would be an advantage.
Tiny Changes is Scotland’s first national young people’s mental health charity. We run projects with young leadersthat help young minds feel better. The charity was set up in memory of artist and Frightened Rabbit frontmanScott Hutchison. Through his music and art Scott made tiny changes that had a big impact on people from allwalks of life.

Role Summary
As a freelance operations consultant at Tiny Changes, you will support the interim CEO with the management of allcharity and day to day operational activities, continuing the development of the charity in line withorganisational objectives and strategic direction. Working closely with our small team, you will contribute tothe overall direction of charity-wide operations. Supporting the management of co-production (youth leadprojects), fundraising, human resources, health and safety and equality diversity and inclusion, to ensure ourprocesses are up to date, compliant, meet the overall needs of the organisation and reflect our values.
